Gym Games

Party Price

$112 for 10 children or less. The cost for additional children over 10 is $10.00 each.

Party Time

Gym Game parties are 1 1/2 hours long. 1 hour is for the gym game activities and the 1/2 hour is for the parent activity. For example, during birthday parties, parents use the 1/2 hour time for birthday cake/presents and short games.

Gym Game parties are best offered on the weekends when KidSpirit can easily reserve the Langton Hall Gym.

Party Location

The Langton Gym located on the 2nd floor of Langton Hall, on the OSU Campus. Langton Hall is on Jefferson Way across the street from the OSU bookstore.

The gym will be used for the 1 hour gym game activities and Langton 124 will be used for the 1/2 hour parent activity. Langton 124 has 4 large tables with chairs and adequate room for party activities.

Parking is free in the OSU student/staff parking lots on the weekend or there is a metered parking lot across the street from Langton Hall.

Party Staff

There will be 1 KidSpirit supervisor and 1 staff member who will...

Arrive to Langton 124 early to hang up balloons and assist in party set up
1 staff member will run the gym games activity(more depending on the number of kids and their abilities/ages)
The supervisor will be available to help as needed during the 1 hour activity and during the 1/2 hour parent activity
Kidspirit will clean-up after the party!

Gym Game Activities

The 1 hour gym game activities will go by fast because the children will be having fun! Activity will be facilitated based on the number of children and their ages. Here are some of the activities that you can request...

Tag Games: Line-tag, Tunnel-tag, Sharks & Minnows

Party Price

$128 for 10 children or less. The cost for additional children over 10 is $10.00 each.

The 1 hour gymnastics activity will go by fast because the children will be having fun...

Getting acquainted with the gymnastics room and equipment!
Participating in gymnastics stretches and warm-up activities!
Playing gymnastics games & tumbling through obstacle courses!
Getting acquainted with the gymnastics apparatuses (vault, uneven bars, beam & spring floor)

Party Price

$133 for 10 children or less. The cost for additional children over 10 is $10.00 each.

Party Time

Swimming parties are 1 1/2 hours long. 1 hour is for the swimming activity and the 1/2 hour is for the parent activity. For example, during birthday parties, parents use the 1/2 hour time for birthday cake/presents and short games. It is the parents choice whether the swimming activity is before or after the parent activity.

Swimming parties are best offered on the weekends when KidSpirit can easily reserve the swimming pool and a life guard.

Party Location

The OSU Women's Building swimming pool located on 26th Street & Campus Way.

The swimming pool will be used for the 1 hour swimming activity and the waiting area outside of the Women's Building locker rooms will be where the 1/2 hour parent activity will be. In this area are 2 sofas, 5+ chairs and a large round table (more chairs can be brought down at request).

To find the waiting area, enter the Women's Building main entrance and take an imediate left. Go downstairs. Straight ahead and to the left will be the men's and women's locker rooms. Assist the children in their appropriate locker rooms and KidSpirit staff will lead them out onto the pool deck.

The Women's Building swimming pool does have a balcony for viewing. To reach the balcony enter through the Women's Building main doors and go up the staircase on the left side. Go straight ahead and you will see the balcony door to your right.

Parking is free in the student/visitor parking lots on the weekend. The above map link will show you where the closest lots are located.

Party Staff

There will be 3 KidSpirit staff members who will help with your party....

A supervisor will arrive early to the Women's Building waiting area to hang up balloons and help set up the party
There will be 2 different swimming staff (more or less depending on the number of kids and their ages & abilities) who will run the swimming activity
During the activity time, the supervisor will be available to help further and then they will be present for the 1/2 hour activity
The supervisor will then clean-up once the party ends

Swimming Activity

The 1 hour swimming activity will go by fast because the children will be having fun...

Getting acquainted with the pool and pool equipment (life jackets, noodles, float & dive toys, canoe...)!
Participating in fun swimming games (sharks & minnows, Marco-Polo, diving, relays...).

The lesson plan for the birthday party will take into account the number of children at the party, their ages and swimming abilities. The 1 hour activity staff are trained swimming instructors who will keep your children safe and having fun!

Tennis

The OSU indoor tennis courts located on the corner of 30th & Washington Way.

The tennis courts will be used for the 1 hour tennis activity and the viewing area in the indoor facility will be used for the 1/2 hour parent activity. The viewing area has 2 round tables and 8 chairs. (more chairs can be brought down at request)

Parking is free in the student parking lot in front of the tennis facility on weekends

Party Staff

There will be 1 KidSpirit tennis staff member who will...

Arrive to the courts early to hang up balloons and assist parents in decorating further, if needed
Run the 1 hour tennis activity (more depending on the number of kids and their abilities/ages)
Help during the 1/2 hour parent activity
Clean-up after the party
