Junior Beavers
Junior Beavers (grades K-2 as of Fall 2008) may enroll in either Full or Half-day sessions, choosing mornings and/or afternoons.
Class Structure
Junior Beaver classes are comprised of campers K-2 and a maximum of 20 campers per group. Each group will have two group leaders. The number of instructors will vary by what is appropriate for the specific activity. Your child will be assigned to a group on a first-come, first-served basis. If your child wishes to be in a group with a friend, we suggest that you sign up together. The order of activities vary by group.

How to Plan your Summer
FIRST - Select the ONE-week or TWO-week dates
NEXT - Decide if attending Half-day or Full-day camps
Half-day: If attending Half-day pick the block of activities for morning or afternoon. Lunch-care (12-1pm) is available for Half-day participants for an additional fee.
FULL-DAY: If attending Full-day pick a morning block AND afternoon block of activities. Lunch-care (12-1pm) is included in the Full-day price.
Session Dates, Fees & Discounts 2008
Half-day base price is $98 for ONE-Week sessions and $185 for TWO-Week sessions. Additional fees for speciality classes, including but not limited to, rock climbing and SKIES (prices noted on session schedules). Class schedule, fees and discounts per session are listed with Registration information.

Captain Planet: Save the environment and the future of the planet with Captain Planet and the Planeteers.
Computer Graphics: Learn the simple steps to make your own computer graphics and designs.
Computers: Learn the ins and outs of basic programs, the internet, and how computers work.
Forests: Explore forest habitats and all its’ wildlife through activities and games.
Fun with Numbers: Play with numbers while solving puzzles, riddles, and more.
Habitats: Rain forests, deserts, wetlands, and more. Discover the habitats of the world and the wildlife that thrive in such environments.
Journey to Space: Discover the planets of our solar system through
a variety of educational activities including arts, crafts, and games.
Net Games: Volleyball, badminton, pickle ball, tennis, and other net sports.
The Olympics: Come be a part of one of the sporting world’s greatest traditions. Practice and compete in events including aquatics, archery, baseball, basketball, cycling, football, gymnastics, hockey, tennis, and volleyball.
Rhythm & Beat: Learn simple rhythms and melodies ranging from urban beats to country swing.
Scooter Games: Slide, skate and scoot across the floor while playing games and relays.
South Pacific Culture: Explore the culture of the South Pacific through art, food, and dancing.
Speed Stacking: How fast can you stack? Learn the art of cup stacking and techniques of the fastest stacks in the world.
Theatre Classes: Create plays and skits, design costumes, and perform for your peers and parents.
The Oregon Trail: Circle your wagons, check your axles, and feed your oxen while we explore the exciting journey of the Oregon Trail.
