Summer Camp Scholarships—each year an average of $15,000 scholarship requests go unmet, and every year we try to increase the number of campers who are able to enjoy our program. This year, we received over $30,000 in scholarship requests.
Updated Equipment for sports and art classes—because dried out pens and deflated balls are no fun!
Tablets—for use by campers with special needs, at check-in/out, to pull up registrations and other vital information on the go, and in countless other areas
Air conditioners and fans for our office—our office has poor ventilation and is often much hotter than the outside temperature
Behind the scenes:
Full-time program/volunteer coordinator to help juggle all the KidSpirit work and play to which Geoff devoted so much time
Additional online registration/database updates—because Geoff worked tirelessly to keep improving our current database program
Commercial laminator—to make our posters and name tags durable, and to handle the heavy loads of camp printing
Adobe Lightroom—to help us dress up our KidSpirit flyers, pictures, and other marketing materials
Printer for Marketing—to help create and improve KidSpirit promotional materials (needs to print in color and on cardstock)
Ethernet cables to improve the productivity of our office
External hard drive—so our marketing and photography staff can make sure KidSpirit memories live on!
