Welcome to KidSpirit Sewing Academy, where creativity knows no bounds! Our sewing programs are designed to inspire and empower young minds while fostering a love for crafting and creativity. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced sewist, there's something for everyone at KidSpirit.

We will focus on the fundamentals of needle safety, as we flex our creativity and follow instructions to make unique projects. From bags, to book-covers, to needle-felted wool, there’s never a dull day in the sewing room!

 Sewing 101: Unleash your Creativity Eco-Sew Up-cycle Camp

Camp Descriptions (Sewists, grades 3-8)

Sewing 101:  Whether a beginner or with some experience, sewists will learn hand stitching and machine basics while crafting personalized projects like patches, quilt blocks, pillowcases, totes, and aprons. All supplies and sewing machines are provided, ensuring a fun and hassle-free experience for young sewists eager to learn and create.

Quilt Quest Adventures: Embark on a quilting journey with Quilt Quest Adventures! Regardless of experience, sewists will master traditional techniques infused with modern creativity, crafting unique patterns like mini quilts, pillows, and table runners. With hands-on guidance and all supplies provided, young sewists cultivate confidence and passion, creating heirloom-quality pieces and honing their expertise.

Eco-Sew Upcycle Camp: 

Sustainably immerse yourself at our Eco-Sew Upcycle Camp! Sewists will learn upcycling techniques to transform old fabrics into new treasures like tote bags, quilts, and accessories while gaining a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship. All supplies are provided for this creative and eco-conscious experience.
