Counselor-In-Training
Grades 9-12
Gain work experience and benefit from KidSpirit's extensive staff training, all while attending Junior Leader seminars at no cost! This volunteer position helps teens develop skills in problem solving, communication, and public speaking!
Hourly Rates (Junior Leaders)
2 Week Camp: $8.41 per/hour
1 Week Camp: $10.33 per/hour
Discounts
OSU Staff, Faculty, Students, and OSUAA Members save an additional $25 on every two-week camp session and $12 on every one-week session!

Friday Dress-Up Days: Join in the FUN!
Week 1: Flora and Fauna Day
Dress up like a plant or animal from your favorite biome. Jungle vines? Desert scorpions? Sea creature? The world is your oyster.
Week 2: Pokémon Style Day
Show off your wildest looks inspired by your favorite Pokémon! Whether you mimic a Pokémon’s colors, patterns, or personality, this dress-up day is all about creativity and fun. Get ready to sparkle, roar, and strike a pose just like a Pokémon Trainer in action!
Week 1: Inventor’s Workshop Day
Lab coats, goggles, tool belts, or any “mad scientist” or inventor look. Be creative! Channel old sci-fi movies or imagine the future.
Week 2: OSU Black and Orange Day
Bring on your orange and black. OSU is a great school for Makerspace maniacs! No matter what you study, we offer hands-on opportunities to learn. Celebrate by wearing our school colors!
Friday Dress-Up Days
All staff members dress up based on predetermined themes every Friday of the Summer Day Camp sessions. We highly encourage campers to join in the fun and dress up as well! All dress-up items should allow wearers to actively participate in the day's activities.
Dress-up days are mandatory for staff, including Junior Leaders. Dressing up is not mandatory for campers, but we love seeing the outfits they come up with!
