Young leaders in grades 6-8 will develop skills, build confidence and learn techniques unique to the Leadership Academy, and will use these skills to assist camp counselors in working with kids at Summer Day Camp. Leaders will receive professional coaching, and gain mentors, friends, great memories and great experiences!
Many participants in KidSpirit's Leadership Training Academy have continued to use the skills they learn, and many have gone on to be employed as Camp Counselors in future years!

Summer Day Camp Logistics:
- Session One: July 7th - 18th
- Session Two: July 21st - August 1st
- Session Three: August 4th - 15th
- Half-Day and Full-Day Options:
- Full-Day Camps: 9:40am - 4:30pm
- AM Half-Day Camps: 9:40am - 1:15pm

Interested in being a Counselor in Training?
Grades 9-12
- Gain real-life work experience and benefit from KidSpirits extensive staff training all while attending Teen Leader Seminars at no cost! This volunteers position helps teens develop skills in problem solving, communication and public speaking!
Friday Dress Up Days Summer Day Camp
All staff members dress up every Friday of the summer session based on a predetermined theme. We highly encourage campers to join in the fun and dress up as well! All dress up items should allow wearers to actively participate in the day's classes.
Dress up days are mandatory for staff, including Teen Leaders. Dressing up is not mandatory for campers, but we love seeing the outfits they come up with!

July 11: Favorite Color Day
Dress head to toe in your favorite color!
July 18: Mystical Creatures
Dress as a mystical creature of nature—fairy, mermaid, phoenix, or forest spirit—using earth, sky, or ocean colors with magical touches like wings, crowns, or glowing stars!
July 25: Favorite Sport Day
Represent your favorite sport or team with jerseys, gear, or fun accessories!
August 1: Crazy Hair, Wacky Wear
The sillier, the better—mix up patterns, colors, and wild hairdos!
August 8: Time Machine Day!
Travel through time—dress from the past, future, or anywhere in between!
August 15: Fictional Character Day
Bring your favorite book, movie, or TV character to life!
