Junior Leaders in grades 6-8 will develop skills, build confidence, and learn techniques unique to the Leadership Academy.

They will use these skills to assist camp counselors at Summer Day Camp.

Leaders will receive professional coaching and gain mentors, friends, and memorable experiences!

Many participants in KidSpirit's Junior Leaders Academy have continued to use the skills they learn,

and many have gone on to be employed as Camp Counselors in future years!

Interested in being a Counselor in Training?

Grades 9-12

Gain work experience and benefit from KidSpirit's extensive staff training, all while attending Junior Leader seminars at no cost! This volunteer position helps teens develop skills in problem solving, communication, and public speaking!

Friday Dress-Up Days

All staff members dress up based on predetermined themes every Friday of the Summer Day Camp sessions. We highly encourage campers to join in the fun and dress up as well! All dress-up items should allow wearers to actively participate in the day's activities.

Dress-up days are mandatory for staff, including Junior Leaders. Dressing up is not mandatory for campers, but we love seeing the outfits they come up with!
